Welcome to EduVerse™ — an online education and student management platform. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by this End User Website Agreement ("EUWA"). Please read it carefully before proceeding.

1. Acceptance of Terms

This EUWA constitutes a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and EduVerse™ ("Platform"). Continued use of the Platform signifies your unconditional acceptance of these terms. This agreement is electronically executed via Clickwrap and carries full legal weight under the Indian IT Act 2000 §5 and the Indian Contract Act 1872.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for students, tutors, and administrators. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By agreeing, you confirm you meet the eligibility requirements or have obtained the required parental consent.

3. Mandatory Geolocation Detection

As a condition of using EduVerse™, you expressly consent to the collection of your device's geolocation data (latitude, longitude, city, state, country, and postal code). This data is used to:

  • Auto-fill address fields during onboarding
  • Optimise scheduling for your region
  • Comply with jurisdiction-specific regulations
  • Maintain legally required consent audit records

Your acceptance of this EUWA constitutes explicit consent to geolocation collection as required under applicable data protection laws.

4. Mandatory Timezone Detection

As a condition of using EduVerse™, you expressly consent to the automatic detection and recording of your device's local timezone (IANA timezone identifier). This is used to display accurate session schedules, class timings, billing dates, and platform notifications in your local time. Timezone data is captured at the time of this agreement and stored as part of the legally binding consent record.

5. Data & Privacy

EduVerse™ collects data necessary to provide its educational services including account information, academic records, device location, and timezone as detailed in §3 and §4 above. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Collection Policy. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Your consent record — including timestamp, IP address, user agent, geolocation, and timezone — is stored in an append-only, tamper-resistant audit log.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or engage in any activity that disrupts the educational experience of other users. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software on EduVerse™ are the property of EduVerse™ or its licensors. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement and all disputes arising from or relating to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All legal proceedings, disputes, arbitrations, and claims arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By accepting this EUWA, you waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

9. Amendments & Re-consent

EduVerse™ reserves the right to update this Agreement. When material changes are made — including changes to data collection scope, payment terms, jurisdiction, or arbitration clauses — users will be required to re-consent before continued access. Minor typographic or formatting corrections do not require re-consent.

10. Non-Compliant Use — No Entitlement to Damages

Users who violate, disregard, or act contrary to this EUWA or any EduVerse™ policy expressly waive any right to claim damages and shall not be entitled to hold EduVerse™, its founder, employees, tutors, or affiliates responsible or liable for any loss, disruption, account action, or consequence arising from such non-compliant conduct. Ignorance of published Terms or policies shall not constitute a valid defence. By accepting this EUWA, you acknowledge that your compliance is a prerequisite to any entitlement of service or remedy under this agreement.
